Bachelor’s degrees are fine if they accompanied by employment experience, especially if they are in the right area. People with no job experience shouldn’t just assume that a Masters alone with get them a career. Experience trumps everything, I have a 2 year college degree and after my first years working people stopped asking about my schooling. Been in the industry for 8 years now.
What are college credits?
Nobody gives a single fuck about my education. The only time it was even relevant was my first job out of school and since then it’s become something that I don’t even need to put on my resume anymore. That’s the problem though, how are you supposed to get experience if you need experience to get experience? What they ask for is pie in the sky. What matters is how your resume compares to others they get. I never understood how people don’t get that and I wish more did. Who cares, send in that resume. No degree? Ah well, send in that resume. I’m sure in many employer’s reasoning, if you are too intimidated by the wording in the job posting to apply, you just saved them the trouble of having to interview you.

From my classes I have a good understanding of SAS. Maybe look into Data Analyst or Research Analyst positions. Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst are the jobs these days for people with bachelor’s degrees. Most of these jobs end up as Excel jobs. The pure analytics road is difficult to go down without a master’s degree or beyond unless you have exceptional self-taught skill. You’ll eventually have to pivot into a more business role if you want to move up or to an MBA for a managerial role or some kind of analytics master’s for a more higher level analytics job. Statistician can also be used, but this title can range from category 1 to 4 depending on the company. Data positions can often lead to positions in Clinical Trial Management or Project Management if you grow within the company. Good luck!! Almost done with my B. Most of my peers and I have been doing technology consulting, data analytics, or even some banking. Most of my senior friends already had full time job offers since August and I was hired for a summer internship back in November. Good luck. You probably already know this but you can become an actuary if you past the two beginning exams.
